What is Valentine’s Day? It’s a SPECIFIC date designated to share LOVE with anyone you know. FABULOUS!!!…and people forget about this holiday simply because advertising has taken it for granted? This cracks me up!
Let’s WAKE UP the sleeping Hearts out there today!
Yes, society has expressed the belief that Valentine’s Day is about the ‘Hallmark Day’ moments and having to get something big to show the one’s you love that they are important. BUT WHY do you have to do what They say? You DON’T! YEEHAH!
Something I decided many years ago, was to take every holiday and utilize it as a Wonderful opportunity to share my Love and Appreciation. Simple, Powerful and Awesome!
I, also, took the time to look up the origination of Valentine’s Day and why it came 
about. This is what I found: The origin of Valentine ’s Day has a really deep connection with romanticism and love. It’s the day in which the lovers show their feelings to the person they love. Sadly on these modern times it has become, like most of the holidays, something materialistic and commercial…
After reading this article I felt confirmed that Valentine’s Day is a Fantastic holiday! On this special day we are being given a beautiful nudge to celebrate the one’s we LOVE!!!
I have a few details to share that may assist some Hearts to open up even more:
1st: Valentine’s Day – a date set aside to express more and more Love. We get to be on this planet to Share and Expand Love and society has Marvelously designated a day to celebrate that Love! What could be better than this to feel Great?
2nd: Over the years and all throughout history, Valentines’ Day has allowed US to take time out of our eventful lives and Show Our Special People that We Love Them…and maybe buy, make or create a gift of some kind for them, just because. What a Privilege it is for us to express our Hearts!
3rd: Here’s a chance to change the unhappy patterns of thoughts and lighten up a bit. Let’s play more and whine less! No more complaining about the ‘Hallmark’ promoting and simply EMBRACE people with HUGS AND SMILES!!!
4th: Enjoy, Relish, Crave, Adore, and Be Excited about this day of Valentine’s! Share, share and share LOVE!!!

Hi Nancy, thank you for the great reminder of what Valentine’s Day is really all about. It brought a smile to my heart, to use this particular day, to show the people in my life, what they mean to me . Had a lot of fun with many people, that I had never met before, that crossed my path today too.
